probes
Vertical probes serve as handmovable pick-ups from drums or boxes,
and have the same air adjustment sleeve as the horizontal probes. |
Probe with check valve This probe prevents
blowback of fine powders from the probe’s airflow adjustment
sleeve into the process area. It is designed for use in a single-
or multiple-position probe box, and may be required for vacuum applications
where dusty, fluidized materials are conveyed.

Horizontal probes and probe boxes
Horizontal material pick-up probes have an adjustable,
slotted sleeve that regulates the amount of air drawn into the conveying
line with the material. It is continuously adjustable from fully open
to closed. A probe box can be selected to accommodate one of multiple
probes, depending on the number of conveying lines to be connected
to it. |
