Equipped with an automatically-cleaned filter medium, the powder loader is designed for short distance conveying, and loading of powder or granular material to one destination. It is also ideal for conveying in applications where the unit’s location restricts manual filter cleaning. The unit comes equipped with a self-contained power head, and can be specified with single or dual inlets.

Materials of construction
Powder loaders are available in aluminum or 316 stainless steel. Since sections are interchangeable, loaders can be specified with stainless steel material contact areas only.

Solid-state Controls
Loaders are equipped with solid state controls. Front panel controls include knobs to set the draw time for inlet number one (and inlet number two, if the unit is so equipped) plus an on/off switch. The controls on even the simplest loader are capable of handling future add-on options, such as dual inlets and pulse-clean powder filters.

Filtration
The powder unit’s filtration system consists of cloth filter bags that receive compressed air pulses after each draw cycle to keep them clean.

Conversion kits
Kits are available to easily convert a 2410 Loader to a receiver for use in a Series 3 central conveying system.
